Now, Education is multi dimensional, multi facet, more knowledgeable, filled up with talents based on globalization on socio economic needs of different sections of the society irrespective of age, sex, caste and creed. Up to 1990's it was more or less static generally on single track with limited inputs and outputs. But, now it is changing on a fast track, can be stated that it is in some type of revolution.
       
  Ultimately, education in this Institute would be based on :
 
  • Training whenever needed; irrespective of age
  • Training at any time, out of 24 hours
  • Training at anyplace; urban or rural areas
  • Training for each Economic group; EWS, LIG; MIG; HIG
 
 

UICT was established in 1999. Universal Institute of Computer Technology is spread over a vast area of 8,000 square meter, amidst the lush green environment. This vast surrounding is beautifully planned and designed using Japanese architecture. Out of the total area 43,000 square feet is the built up area containing three nicely lighted and well designed computer labs.

 

There are 134 computer in all which approximately cost 40,000 each. These 134 computers are connected to each other using LAN (local area network). A 24hr. Internet Facility : 512 kbps line with 2 Static IP Addresses is made available to the students during their lab sessions.

 

Universal institute of Computer Technology is a part of Universal Education Society which was registered in 1980. As such it is semi Govt. organization. This institute is legally allowed by IGNOU to conduct the classes for various courses offered by the university as per the agreement made with them.
